CHERN-SIMONS GAUGE-THEORY AND ANYONS AT FINITE TEMPERATURE

AbstractThe temperature dependence of Chern-Simons coefficient and statistical angle are investigated by using field theory at finite temperature. The results show that the Chern-Simons term will melt away at high temperature and the statistical angle will increase as temperature increases. Temperature dependence of the filling fact for Landau-Level is also discussed.
