摘要It is shown rigorously that the total propagator probability for an exciton moving on a linear chain with one impurity is a conserved quantity. The part of the total propagator probability that represents the probability of the exciton being captured by the localized state is exactly zero. This result contradicts the earlier result of Bilek and Skala.
