AbstractKeldysh's nonequilibrium Green's function is applied to study magnetotunneling in the 3D-->2D-->3D,2D-->1D-->2D,1D-->0D-->1D (where D is dimensional) double-barrier resonant tunneling structures when the magnetic field is parallel to the current at zero temperature. Electron-electron (e-e) and electron-phonon (e-p) interactions are not considered. The finite temperature effect is also discussed. Under the wide-band limit, numerical results coincide with experiments qualitatively. The same formula can be applied to other magnetotunneling processeses.
