AbstractWe study the model of an Abelian vector field with Chern-Simons term coupled to Higgs field in 2+1 dimensions and quantize it canonically by using the Dirac-Bergmann algorithm. As an equivalent approach of rotational invariance in the theory, the Schwinger relation is established. We further show the exotic statistics for these configurations and establish a angular-momentum-anomaly connection.
