AbstractExtraordinary large magnetoresistance (ELMR) found in doped La-Ca-Mn-O oxide thin films is studied by using the spin and charge fluctuation theory developed by authors, We show that localization may occur due to the spin and charge fluctuations and it may be a major contributing factor to the ELMR effect.
