Nucleon tensor charge from the quark model

AbstractThe nucleon tensor charge is studied in the quark model. It is found that the contributions from valence constituent quarks are delta u(q) = 1.17 and delta d(g) = -0.29, while the contributions from valence current quarks are delta u(v) = 0.89 and delta d(v) = -0.22 at scale about 1 GeV.
