AbstractThe rare decays Lambda(b)-->Lambda gamma and Lambda(b)-->Lambda l(+)l(-) (l = e, mu) are examined. We use QCD sum rules to calculate the hadronic matrix elements governing the decays. Then polarization in the decays is analyzed and it is shown that the polarization parameter in Lambda(b)-->Lambda gamma does not depend on the values of hadronic form factors. The energy spectrum of Lambda in Lambda(b)-->Lambda l(+)l(-) is given. [S0556-2821(99)02511-4].
