A few notes on non-perturbative parameters in the heavy quark expansion

AbstractNon-perturbative parameters to order O(1/m(Q)) in the heavy quark effective theory expansion, Lambda, lambda(1), and lambda(2), as well as the masses m(b) and m(c), were estimated phenomenologically from B and D meson system spectroscopy. We found a relatively large value of m(b) and a quite small value of <(Lambda)over bar> compared to previous estimates.
