AbstractThrough the analysis of the He-3 elastic scattering on the C-12 nucleus, two different folded optical potentials, one is constructed based on the alpha-particle model of the C-12 nucleus, another is constructed based on the nucleon component model of C-12, are compared. The comparison shows that the former optical potential has some advantages.
