Disentangling the hadronic molecule nature of the P-c(4380) pentaquark-like structure

AbstractWe demonstrate that the relative ratio of the decays of hidden charm pentaquark-like structure P-c(+) (4380) to (D) over bar*Lambda(+)(c) and J/psi p is very different for P-c(+) being (D) over bar Sigma(c)* (2520) or (D) over bar*Sigma(c) (2455) molecule states. While the partial width of the (D) over bar*Sigma(c) (2520) molecule to the or (D) over bar*Lambda(+)(c) is much larger, by one order of magnitude, than that to the J/psi p, the (D) over bar*Sigma(c) (2455) molecule shows a different pattern. Our analysis shows that the (D) over bar Sigma(c)* bound state ansatz is more reasonable than the (D) over bar Sigma(c)* one to explain the broad P-c (4380) structure. We suggest to search for the P-c(4380) in the (D) over bar*Lambda(+)(c) system, which can be used to disentangle the nature of the P-c(+)(4380) structure. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
